GET TO KNOW ME

Hi, I’m Angelique. A six-foot tall Texan with a bright smile and a generous heart. You might think I’d command the attention of any room I walk into. Truth is, I have spent a good part of my life trying to be smaller - shrinking myself into the molds of success that were presented to me but never really feeling good about it. It felt forced. Like a means to an end. Yes, I was successful. And yes, it was exhausting.

Then a big life change brought me clarity and certainty to resign from my busy, visible, and comfortable corporate gig. This was less of an epiphany and more a strong nudge in a direction I was already considering but too timid to actually pursue. Stepping out of my standard mold helped me to discover a confidence that was both hidden and outwardly focused for so long.

I’ve learned that you don’t have to quit your job to step into a more authentic career. You can be a badass at work without always running on fumes. As a certified leadership coach, I help high performing people pleasers to regain control of their confidence and their calendar.

Having nearly two decades of corporate experience across consumer-packaged goods sales (General Mills), human capital consulting, and DEI management (Deloitte), I’ve seen great leaders begin to doubt their abilities as they advance. Oftentimes it’s because they’ve been conditioned to over-deliver and over-perform without pausing to understand what success looks like in their current season. As a result, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.

I hold space for rising leaders to define genuine aspirations and shine a light on possibilities they had not previously considered. My coaching style applies transformational leadership and habit creation practices to partner with my clients for lasting change. I’m the kind of coach who doesn’t just hold your hand, I’ll give you a swift dose of reality while helping you build a roadmap to genuine and sustainable success.

I have a BBA from The University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. I am recognized as a certified professional coach by the International Coaching Federation (ACC) and the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching. My roots are planted in Houston, Texas, and after seven corporate relocations across the US, my wings currently have me in Bentonville, Arkansas with my husband, 2 entertaining kids, and our COVID pup.
